Low-Cost Deployable Scalable RF Energy Harvesting Arrays

Quick energy-on-demand is needed in energy-starved environments where eg no light or other source is present. We are developing scalable foldable rectifier arrays that can be powered from a temporary source such as a UAV. This talk will present the materials used, the design of the antennas and rectifiers and the requirements on the power management circuit for several electronics loads, such as a mobile radio and various sensors.
